Consultation Services:
Consultation services can be provided to individuals and groups on topics such as Parenting, Child Development, Behaviour, and Special Needs. Maybe you have questions or concerns about your child's behaviour or development. Perhaps you and some other parents would like to hold a "coffee hour" or information session where you can ask questions about child development and parenting. Consultation services are available in the setting that best suits your needs: playgroup, home, park, or office.
Parent Coaching:
Parent Coaching is an outcomes-based, solutions-oriented, short-term service (12 weeks is optimal) that takes place weekly or bi-weekly in the setting that best suits your needs (home, office, or by phone). Coaching can be used for a range of parenting issues that do not require therapeutic intervention, such as, creating a secure attachment with an infant, developing a parenting philosophy or co-parenting plan, learning strategies to reduce behaviours, reducing family stress and conflict, and homework battles, to name just a few. Parent Coaching lets you learn new parenting approaches that help you to be the parent you want to be.
